On 1 December 2022, the second Day of Student Scientific Clubs was held at our Faculty.
The purpose of the event was to present the activities of the Student Scientific Organisations operating at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, including the Student Government and Student Scientific Clubs. The aim was also to integrate the student community and show the opportunities and prospects for development, not only scientific.
During the event, participants could get familiar with the offer of each Student Scientific Club operating at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of UMCS. Members of the Clubs, together with their supervisors, were eager to tell visitors to their stands about what they do and their prospects for the future. Participants of the event could also take part in interesting lectures and workshops. How to deal with stress? How to present yourself well at the conference? How can you find interesting projects to get involved in? Is it worthwhile to take up doctoral studies? These and other questions have already been answered by many people.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Student Scientific Club of Biologists, the Student Scientific Club of Biochemists, the Student Scientific Club of Biotechnologists, the Student Scientific Club of Phytochemists, the Student Scientific Club of Microbiologists, the Student Scientific Club of Neurobiologists, and the Student Nature Photography Club.
We cordially thank all students and supervisors of Scientific Clubs for organizing the event and all visitors for their presence!
We invite you to view a photo report of the event.
