Christmas 2018
On 14 December 2018, the first integrative meeting entitled "Christmas All around the World" was held at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. The reason to organize such an event was the launch of a new BSc programme – Medical Biology, conducted in English and allowing students from all over the world to study Biology at our Faculty.
During the meeting, students from Poland had the chance to get acquainted with colleagues from Ukraine, Belarus, Tanzania, Ecuador and Turkey, and exchange experiences and Christmas traditions celebrated in their countries. The event was accompanied by artistic performance – playing Christmas carols and by tasting traditional Polish Christmas dishes.
The meeting was organized by the Student Government of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology and foreign students of Medical Biology with the support ofthe Faculty authorities, Prof. Magdalena Staszczak – the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education and Prof. Małgorzata Wójcik – Vice-Director for Student Affairs.
