In the academic year 2023/2024 appr. 500 students are studying at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, including 89 foreign students from 21 countries in Polish- and English-language programmes. Among them, 32 students from four continents and 21 countries (Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Burundi, Congo, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Ukraine, USA, Zimbabwe) study Medical Biology and Molecular Biology in English. Next academic year we are launching a new BSc Sustainable Management programme.
The Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology is one of the oldest faculties in the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin – the largest public university in Poland on the eastern side of the Vistula River.
