Student Government at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology
The main task of the Student Government of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of UMCS is to protect students’ rights established by the Act, the UMCS Statute, and the regulations of studies. Another task is to represent students in collegial bodies of the University and the Council of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology and to manage the social and cultural affairs for students. The representatives of the Student Government are members of the Council of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, the social commission, and the commission for the quality of education. They participate in the distribution of funds for student organisations and provide support during final re-sit examinations. Under the auspices of the Student Government of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, our students participate in international and national conferences and symposia.
Our mission is to make students aware that we represent them in front of the Faculty staff and they can report their problems to us.
