On 19 December 2022, for the fourth time, an integrative Christmas meeting was held for students of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology entitled "Christmas All Around the World". In the current academic year, over 500 students are studying at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, including 93 foreign students. In the biology and biotechnology courses given in Polish, 60 students from Ukraine and Belarus are studying. In the English-language Medical Biology and Molecular Biology specialities, 33 students from 22 countries on four continents (Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Burundi, China, Ghana, India, Ireland, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Congo, Kosovo, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, United States of America, Tanzania, Ukraine, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates) are currently studying. During the Christmas meeting, the students presented traditions and customs connected with the celebration of Christmas and New Year in various countries: Ayana – in Kazakhstan
