Rules for the conclusion of agreements

Cooperation agreements

The subject of the framework agreement is the cooperation between UMCS and an international centre, most frequently with the aim of carrying out academic exchanges and/or starting cooperation in the fields of science, culture and education.

The scope of cooperation in executive agreements includes, for example, the implementation of projects aimed at improving the quality of education, supporting research activities and promoting international exchanges of researchers.

Below there is a summary of the current international agreements of UMCS.

Rules for the conclusion of agreements:

  1. Draft agreements should be submitted to legal advisors for approval before being signed by the UMCS authorities.
  2. In accordance with the Polish Language Act, the agreement should have a Polish language version.
  3. Cooperation agreements signed by both parties should be forwarded to the Legal and Organisational Centre for registration.

Archiving of international cooperation agreements is handled by the International Cooperation Center.
