The rules for the reception of guests to the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University for scientific and research purposes are regulated by the Ordinance of the Rector of UMCS no. 109/2013 of 26 November 2013 on the introduction of the Regulations for the reception, financing and settlement of visits of foreign guests to the UMCS.

The reception, financing and settlement of visits of foreign guests to the UMCS includes the visits of guests within the framework of:

• teaching and research programmes,
• research projects,
• educational, training and other projects,
• international agreements,
• bilateral cooperation agreements of the University,
• invitations from organisational units of the University,
• participation in conferences, symposia, scientific seminars, courses and trainings.

The inviting unit/employee fills in the Application to receive a foreign guest (Appendix 1 to the Ordinance) according to the template attached below.

NOTE!

We kindly inform that in the case of the collection of an advance payment on behalf of a foreign guest by a research supervisor, it is essential for the guest and the supervisor to fill in and sign the "Cash receipt confirmation", attached as Appendix 1 to the Regulations.
