The event began with the students being welcomed in front of the Marie Curie-Skłodowska Monument, where they gained knowledge about the history of the founding of our Alma Mater. The tour was guided by the Welcome Centre UMCS team.
During the tour students had the opportunity to visit key campus sites such as the UMCS Admissions Office, Competence Development Center, UMCS International Student Office, Doctoral Schools, Centrum Kultury Fizycznej UMCS, AZS UMCS Lublin, ACKiM UMCS Chatka Żaka. It was also an opportunity to learn about opportunities for active participation in the life of our Alma Mater.
Newly-arrived students will begin their education in english-language programmes, such as IT Cyber Security, International Relations, Molecular Biology, Medical Biology, Chemistry, Data Science, Business Analytics, Tourism Management, Graphic Arts.

Walk&Talk - UMCS Campus Tour is a continuation of the task financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Welcome to UMCS project - an integrated set of activities and institutional improvements focused on strengthening the efficiency of UMCS in the field of providing services to students, doctoral students and staff from abroad.
