In 2024, following the pattern of previous years, the submission of the application for the subsidisation of individual leave for female and male employees of the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska, known as “'leave gratification”', is done electronically:
Application for leave gratification (link opens in new tab) (in Polish)
Once completed and the “'submit”' button is clicked, the application is automatically submitted. A message will then be displayed stating that the application has been correctly completed and submitted.
Pursuant to the Benefit Fund Regulations (Order No. 68/2014 of 13 November 2014. §9, Regulations of the Benefit Fund of the UMCS) there are two conditions for receiving leave gratification:
1. use of a minimum of 14 days (calendar) of annual leave entered into the SAP system and approved by the immediate supervisor;
2. submission of an application for leave gratification.
In relation to the payment of leave gratification in 2024, I would very much like to ask managers and heads of organisational units to make computers available to staff and employees and assist them in completing the applications.
In exceptional cases, paper applications will be accepted from employees and service staff.
The amount of leave gratuity for the employees of UMCS in 2024 is shown in the table below.
