On June 2nd, UMCS organized the “International Candidates Webinar”, an online meeting for International candidates who are interested in applying to programmes conducted in English at our University.
The event was attended by students and graduates of English-speaking faculties: Robert Ainebyona Karokora - Uganda, a member of the UMCS Welcome Center team, Faith Alex Laizer – Tanzania (BA International Relations), Roman Pinchuk – Ukraine (MA International Relations graduate), Natasza Łapińska-Poland ( BA Finance and Accounting), Adeniyi ADERIBIGBE – Nigeria (Entrepreneur and PhD candidate), Kateryna Drozdiuk- Ukraine (UMCS Admissions Office), Veronika Zhdamarova – Ukraine (BA Economy).
The main purpose of the webinar, was to familiarise the audience with the current array of programmes included in the educational offer, rules of recruitment for studies and to showcase the lives of students in Lublin and in general at UMCS. Currently, UMCS is host to students from across 3 continents, countries, incl: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, China, Chile, India, Kyrgyzstan, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
The event was organized by the Rector's plenipotentiary for the internationalization of education - Dr. Ewelina Panas in cooperation with the UMCS Promotions Center.
