Workshop “Publish or Perish: Academic Writing and Scholarly Success”

prof. Agata Ziętek the director of Doctoral School of Social Science is pleased to invite you to a lecture by prof. Roberto Rabel “Publish or Perish: Academic Writing and Scholarly Success”, which will be held on June 7 at 11 am in Aula (Assembly Hall), Weteranów 18.
In this workshop, Emeritus Professor Roberto Rabel will highlight the importance of scholarly publication for PhD students in the Social Sciences at the University of Lublin. He will begin by highlighting some of the basics of effective academic writing. He will then outline challenges and common pitfalls that confront PhD students in embarking on their first scholarly publications, while offering tips and guidelines about how to overcome these to lay the foundations for successful academic careers in the 21st century. There will be ample opportunity for interactive discussion and questions.
