The Management and Marketing Circle of the Maria Curie Sklodowska University of Lublin is one of the longest scientific circles established at the Faculty of Economics of the Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin. It is formed by students from different fields of study, who are united by: ambition, desire for personal development and acquiring new useful skills (especially organizational), common interests, but also motivation to explore knowledge in the field of management and marketing.
The main goal of the KNZiM is to popularize and deepen knowledge in the field of management and marketing in the broadest sense. To achieve this goal:
➢ We organize scientific conferences, training courses, debates, lectures, workshops aimed at students and graduates interested in management and marketing;
➢ We cooperate with various companies, ambassadors, but also parallel functioning scientific circles and student’s government;
➢ We represent universities at various external conferences or science festivals;
➢ Using the possibilities of social media - We provide information on major events and create thematic content, making sure that content is of the highest value;
➢ We observe and listen carefully to students, organizing events that meet their needs;
➢ We take care to build a friendly atmosphere that stimulates creativity and effective, efficient teamwork .
Over the years, we have implemented many interesting and useful projects that have been and continue to be very popular with our but also other students, such as GOAL (Generation of Active Leaders National Scientific Conference), Meeting on “forms of business” with Dr. Slawomir Mentzen, Expert meeting with Wojciech Lesniewski, director of Santader Universidades on "Corporate Social Responsibility and many others.
Currently, cyclical projects include:
➢ The National Scientific Conference "Marketing of the 21st Century"-conducted continuously since 2017. It has taken both stationary and remote form. The conference covers areas in the field of: modern marketing tools, modern marketing channels, social media marketing, advertising and modern forms of marketing communication, brand management, consumer behavior in the market, innovation in marketing, modern marketing problems.
➢ The National Scientific Conference "Social Media Marketing"- implemented for the first time in 2021 in a remote format, which did not prevent it from receiving a record number of applications the following year. The conference covers the following areas: the broad subject of Social Media, marketing in Social Media, , the role of Social Media in business, advertising and modern forms of communication, innovation in Social Media , or the use of Social Media in Public Relations.
➢ National Scientific Conference Challenges in Human Resource Management- a scientific conference organized with the Scientific Circle of Knowledge and Quality concluded with the publication of a post-conference monograph. The conference addresses issues related to: innovations in Human Resource Management, innovations in the IT sphere in Human Resource Management in the face of Industry 4.0, Human Resource Management in the quality management system of modern organizations, Intellectual Capital Management in organizations 4. 0, the challenges of Human Resource Management (in the covid and pre-pandemic period), the challenges of managers in Human Resource Management (before and during the pandemic period), the challenges in knowledge management in modern organizations, the role and silhouette of the Manager for the 21st century.
