Accommodation for Exchange students:
The University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska has the accommodation facilities available to all its students, including the exchange part-time students. There are 9 dormitories available with their detailed description provided here: https://www.umcs.pl/en/umcs-dormitories,15042.htm

The accommodation application process takes place every semester (in August and January respectively). UMCS Erasmus Office will additionally inform you about exact application deadlines.
Pay attention: UMCS International Student Office does not provide any assistance to international students in renting privately-owned accommodation (a room in a private students residence halls, a privately owned flat/apartment/studio, etc.). The sole responsibility for any such rentals lies within the students.
Medical insurance:
All foreign students are obliged to take out health insurance for the period of time they will spend in the country of destination. It can be either a private insurance policy obtained in their country of origin or in Poland or a voluntary health insurance in Polish National Health Fund.
