Who can come to Chatka Żaka? What time? Do I need a special permit?
Though our program is addressed to students (not only from UMCS), everyone is welcome at Chatka Żaka! We have spaces where you can come alone/with friends, study, work or simply relax:
The spaces are usually open from 9:00 to 17:00 but it all depends on the number of events of the day. Would you like to spend time in any of these rooms in the evening? Write to us, we will settle it.
I’d like to get involved in something, but I don’tknow exactly what. What should I do?
Write to Joanna Podlodowska (praktyki@ack.lublin.pl) who works with interns and volunteers. She will help you find out what would suit your interests best at Chatka Żaka.
Are events at Chatka Żaka paid?
Most of our events are free. It is always written in the FB event or website whether admission is free, there is free registration via the form or you need to buy a ticket. Tickets are most often sold online or at the Chatka Żaka ticket office.
What are the Programme Lines about?
In short, the activity of Chatka Żaka is divided into 6 Programme Lines:
As part of each Programme Line, events, meetings, and workshops take place, about which we keep informing on our social media and the website.

Fill out the initial project form available in the contact section on our website and send it to to our e-mail (chatka@mail.umcs.pl) Your proposal will be directed to the relevant department, and regardless of the decision, we will get back to you!
