English-speaking students and University employees should pass the information about a confirmed infection in their case, a suspicion of a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (a decision about hospitalization or isolation), or a suspicion of infection by this virus (a decision about quarantine) to the
telephone number +48 81 537-29-26
operating from Monday to Friday from 7.15 a.m. to 3.15 p.m.
After office hours, the information referred to above should be passed to the

Persons with confirmed infection, a suspicion of a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (a decision about hospitalization or isolation), or a suspicion of infection by this virus (a decision about quarantine) are required to pass the following details:
a) name and surname
b) telephone contact number
c) the reasons for staying in the UMCS facilities or the professional contacts with employees and students (e.g. being an employee, a student, a doctoral student, etc.)
d) the circumstance of being a resident of the UMCS dormitory
e) the date of the appearance of the first symptoms of the infection (in case of the confirmed infection and a suspicion of a disease)
f) the date of collecting the material for the test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus (in case of the confirmed infection and a suspicion of a disease)
g) the date of issuing the decision about isolation or quarantine by the State Sanitary Inspectorate
h) the list of people with whom the infected/suspected of infection person had close contact at the University, together with their place of work or study and the date of the contact
i) the abovementioned list should include contacts from the period of at least:
– 7 days before the appearance of the symptoms
– 7 days before collecting the material for the test in case of lack of the symptoms and a positive test result
– 7 days from the contact with a person with confirmed infection or suspicion of a disease
