The students of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University may apply for a place in a dormitory for the holiday period in the academic year 2023/20234.
The application form (paper version) shall be submitted to the dormitory administration by Monday, June 26, 2024. The students may apply for a place in their current dormitories or choose a dormitory from the list of available residence halls.
Available dormitories:
The students may be assigned a place in a dormitory during the holiday period on the following basis: doing internships, being unable to return to the country of origin, conducting research, preparing a diploma thesis, or taking up work (confirmed by a certificate from the employer).
In order to receive a place in the UMCS Dormitory during the summer holidays 2024, please fill in the form (Appendix 13), print it and pass it to the Manager of the selected Dormitory.
Priority is given to students currently residing in UMCS Dormitories.
Deposit/booking fee is charged during the procedure of applying for a place in the UMCS Residence Hall in the 2023/2024 academic year and amounts to 400 PLN. For those residing in any UMCS student dormitory at the start of the holiday accommodation period, the previously paid deposit/booking fee will be applied towards the holiday accommodation and subsequently refunded after meeting the regulatory requirements. Those who have not lived in a student dormitory will be required to pay this fee by July 2, 2024.
Payments for accommodation in the Student Residence Halls shall be made according to the price list for the 2023/2024 academic year,.
