In the interest of performances coherence in the course of conference, the Organizers wish to highlight that the subject matters should apply to legal standards of humanitary animal protection, that is the protection which is motivated with ethical or non-economic reasons. We suggest the subject of submitted statements to pertain to the following issues:
- current legal status of animals;
- legal conditions of breeding and placing on the market of pet animals;
- legal protection of farm animals;
- acceptability of ritual slaughter;
- legal requirements for the transport of animals;
- legal conditions for the use of animals for entertainment, shows, movies, sports and special purposes;
- legal protection of laboratory animals;
- communal programs of care over stray animals and preventing animal homelessness;
- legal protection of free-living animals;
- systemic status and competence of public administration authorities in the field of animal protection;
- legal framework considering the actions of social organizations for the animal protection.
According to the submitted abstracts, the Organizers will make a choice of papers which is going to be presented in the course of conference.
Time provided for one speech: 20 minutes
Language of proceedings: English and Polish (all presentations and discussion will be interpreted simultaneously).
