The present publication is the result of research on the state of animal protection legislation, which was presented at the International Scientific Conference „Legal aspects of the humanitarian protection of animals”, which took place on March 31, 2021 at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (MCSU) in Lublin, Poland (online, using MS Teams). Studia Iuridica Lublinensia is on the list of scored scientific journals kept by the Minister of Science and Higher Education (score: 100) and is indexed in Polish and international databases (SCOPUS). The journal is published in both printed and electronic forms on an open access basis.
