On 28th of January this year in the Senate Hall a solemn handing of congratulatory letters for honored students took place. The event was attended by the Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, prof. Stanisław Michałowski and Director of the Center for Training and Study Services Alicja Borzęcka-Szajner.
Of 1087 applications submitted by students from universities from all over the country meeting the conditions for receiving a scholarship, the Minister of Science and Higher Education selected a group of 488 students to whom he awarded a scholarship. Among the winners were 15 students from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University who through their work and perseverance, proved that they are people with open minds and passionate about science.
