Tuition fee payments Tuition fees should be paid or transferred to the bank account stated in the Letter of Acceptance. The transfer title should include applicant's name, name of the programme and the semester the applicant is paying for. Tuition fee waiver Tuition fees may be cancelled or paid in instalments. This, however, depends upon the Rector of the university, who makes the decision based on student’s justified and well-documented application. It is recommended to submit an application for tuition waiver before the start of academic year. Other payments Each candidate has his or her own IRK (UMCS Online Registration System) account where they can generate payment forms used for paying fees for student ID card (17 PLN). The fee concerns also the candidates for PhD programmes. You must not make any other payments in IRK, such as dormitory rent, fees for issuing your diplomas. Such payments are made to bank accounts assigned by the faculty dean's office to individual students. For students enrolled under the same regulations as Polish citizens Admission fee for foreigners admitted under the regulations pertaining to Polish citizens amounts to PLN 85 (PLN 130 in case of art-related programmes). These fees are not applicable to candidates admitted to study on a fee-paying basis.
