Prof. Mariusz Kicia visited Jordan University College (JUCo), a partner university in Tanzania, from 6 to 10 January 2025. The visit was funded by the Erasmus+ KA 171 programme. During his visit, he led classes on various topics, including 'Polish Economy 1989-2024: 35 Years of Development and Challenges' for students of economics, pedagogy, management, finance and accounting, and 'Introduction to Finance' for students of law and theology. He also had meetings with the Principal (equivalent to the Rector) and the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce. During an open lecture, he presented the teaching offer of the Faculty of Economics and the entire UMCS to interested students. For the summer semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, further reciprocal visits of lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Commerce are planned, and nine students from the Faculty of Commerce will study in Lublin at the Faculty of Economics under the Erasmus+ KA 171 student mobility programme.
