Master Your Interview Skills! Workshop Powered by Sii Poland – Event Recap

On March 14, 2025, UMCS international students gathered at the Faculty of Economics for an exciting and hands-on workshop, "Master Your Interview Skills!", powered by Sii Poland. Held in the cozy quiet zone of the faculty’s library, the session was all about helping students ace their job interviews with confidence and strong communication.

The workshop was led by Agata Micał, Regional Recruitment Manager at Sii Poland, who brought in her extensive HR and recruitment experience. She shared insider tips on what recruiters look for, how to introduce yourself effectively, and how to leave a lasting impression in an interview.

During the 90-minute session, students got to participate in lively discussions and practical exercises to discover their own communication styles. The instructor also walked them through common interview questions, body language tips, and confidence-boosting techniques to help them stand out in the hiring process.

A total of 25 students took part, making the most of this opportunity to learn, practice, and get valuable feedback in a relaxed and interactive setting. The small group size allowed for great engagement, ensuring everyone could take something useful away from the session.

The workshop was organized by UMCS Faculty of Economics and International Student Office Centre for Education and Study Services as part of the project “The Power of Relations – działania na rzecz wzmocnienia potencjału UMCS w zakresie obsługi studentów z zagranicy,” funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Welcome to Poland Program.

A huge thank you to Sii Poland and Agata Micał for sharing their expertise and helping our students build their career confidence! Judging by the positive feedback, this kind of event is exactly what our international student community needs.

Stay tuned for more workshops and events designed to help you succeed in your academic and professional journey!
