University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska UMCS is the largest higher education institution in Eastern Poland. Up to this date, our Alma Mater has produced 216 thousand of graduates and currently we are training almost 22 thousands students in 200 specializations. The University undertakes regular activities aimed at adjusting its educational offer to the requirements of modern economy and increasing competencies of its academic and management staff. The concept of education based on interdisciplinary research conducted by eminent specialist and geared towards teaching practical transversal skills to students takes into account the global directions of the development of science.
