Three lecturers from the Faculty of Commerce at Jordan University College in Morogoro – a partner university of UMCS – visited the Faculty of Economics for a week. Mr Jones Mnzava from the Department of Business Studies, gave a lecture entitled “Product strategies in a competitive environment” for various groups of Polish students; Mr ChawesaLengesel a Kapungu from the Department of Accounting and Finance and Mr Makalo Pastory Petro from the Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics taught Erasmus students – “Budgeting as a tool for planning and control” and “Quantitative methods” , respectively. This was their first visit to Poland. A total of 10 academic teachers from Morogoro have already visited UMCS (some twice). The visit of another group of four lecturers is planned for May 2025. The mobilities are financed by the EU under the Erasmus+ KA 171 program.
