On 15th of October, students of the Institute of Fine Arts presented works created during the open air painting in Józefów. Professor's works are also present on the exhibition.
As every year, our students had the opportunity to improve their painting skills outdoors. The surroundings of the city of Józefów are conducive to the creation of images rooted in admiration of nature’s wonders. It is difficult to uniformly define the resulting images in formal terms. Among the works we may find many landscapes showing views characteristic of the region of Lublin, as well as painting that is definitely moving away from impressionistic representations towards abstraction. Two paintings by dr hab. Krzysztof Bartnik may be a good example, as our professor participated in the open air painting not only providing substantive help to students, but also actively creating his own works.
The exhibition is open to visitors at the Art Incubator at ACK "Chatka Żaka" until 12th of November, 2019.
