Mobility within ATHENA European University
Students interested in mobility opportunities within the ATHENA consortium follow the same procedure as those applying for the Erasmus+ program.
How to Apply?
- If you want to participate in an event organized by one of our ATHENA partners, the first step is to contact your faculty coordinator. They will assess whether the mobilityaligns with your study program and if you meet the necessary criteria to apply. - Once you receive approval from your faculty coordinator, you need to complete the required formalitiesat the Erasmus Office. The office is currently located in DS. "Ikar," room 12. Contact details can be found here: https://www.umcs.pl/pl/biuro-programu-erasmus,7213.htm
- If your application is accepted, you must apply for the mobility according to the procedures set by the hosting university. Once the university confirms your participation, you must contact the Erasmus Office again to finalize all formalities.
- After completing your mobility, you must report to the Erasmus Office to complete the final settlement process.
Short-term mobilities
International exchanges are often associated with semester-long Erasmus stays. However, shorter mobility programs, such as Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) or Summer/Winter Schools, are also available. These are typically mobilities lasting up to 30 days and may include an online component, such as virtual lectures or activities before or after the on-site component.
Why take part in ATHENA European University mobility?
Many universities organize events for international students and invite all interested participants. However, applicants from ATHENA partner universities often have an advantage in the selection process. Some events are evenexclusively available to students from partner institutions. Applying for mobilitywithin the ATHENA consortium increases your chances of participation.
