In the academic year 2018/19 International PhD Studies (IPhDS) start up at the Faculty of Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (Lublin, Poland).
The main aim of IPhDS is to extend the educational offer and to increase the teaching quality at the Faculty. For this reason the Faculty applied for financial support to The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR, Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju). The funds allotted by NCBR will be used for a variety of activities of the PhD students covered by the project, including, inter alia, participation in the international conferences and summer schools, as well as attending traineeships at the leading universities across Europe.
Students qualified to the studies will be also qualified to International PhD Studies in Chemistry project within the framework of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development in a period of 2014-2020, priority axis III Higher Education for Economy and Development, Action 3.2 PhD Studies, cofinanced from the European Union means within the European Social Fund.
Participation in project is obligatory for PhD students.
The IPhDS are addressed to at most 10 students all over the Europe. They last for 4 years and are expected to be finished by the presentation of the doctoral thesis. The doctoral defense is supposed to take place by the end of 2022. The enrollment will be carried out in August 2018. The details (including timetable) can be found below (programme, info).
