A geography graduate has won the first prize in a prestigious competition!
Piotr Urbański, a graduate of the Geography program at our Faculty, has won the first prize in the Master's Thesis Competition in Geography organized by the Polish Geographical Society.
Piotr Urbański wrote his master's thesis titled "Socio-economic consequences of energy transformation in the Lublin Coal Basin" at the Department of Socio-Economic Geography under the supervision of dr hab. Wojciech Janicki, prof. UMCS.
