African Transitions Series
The African Transitions Series is a yearly academic event at UMCS organized since 2019 and focusing on Africa as an actor in the global environment as well as on development of African communities, societies and states. The event is not only an occasion for the academic exchange and the discussion within the African studies community in Poland and worldwide but also an occasion for the African students and scholars at UMCS to discuss important issues concerning the changes and development of their countries and all the region. It also brings information about Africa as a global actor to the general public
