The Book of Visual Identification is a document that contains general rules for creating information and promotional materials of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, based on consistent and recognizable symbolism.
The basis of our identification system is the university's logo and a family of 13 faculty logotypes, derived from its form and consistent with it. Faculty logos refer to the traditional symbolism of individual units, deeply rooted in the minds of university employees.
The UMCS visual identification system also includes a characteristic colour scheme, enriching the message and giving many possibilities a graphic element - a system of 13 squares symbolizing individual faculties of the university.
