Remote access to e-resources

The UMCS library enables the use of licensed electronic resources outside the university network (e.g., from home computers).

E-resources are available only to UMCS students and employees with a UMCS Central Authentication Service.

Rules for using licensed e-resources

Using e-resources is available only for UMCS students and researchers. Sharing the access is not allowed. Removing, modyfying, systematic downloads or using web-crawling programs is strictly prohibited.

We invite you to use PRIMO SEARCH - the possibility of simultaneous searching of:

• library online catalogue,
• the UMCS Digital Library,
• licensed digital resources purchased by UMCS (electronic books and periodicals, bibliographic, factual and full-text databases)
• resources available in the Open Access model.

Accessing licensed collections from outside the UMCS network requires login through the university’s authentication system.
