The Students Research Team at the European Centre UMCS is a university-wide organisation associating undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students who are passionate about the European Union and European integration related issues.
The goals of the organisation include:
- promotion of a wide variety of activities related to European integration,
- promotion of the activities of the European Centre UMCS related to European integration,
- engaging students in scientific and research work in the field of European integration issues,
- promotion of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University,
- inter-faculty integration of students interested in matters concerning the functioning of the European Union,
- development of students' scientific interests in the area of broadly understood European integration.
The organisation pursues the above-stated goals by:
- organising thematic conferences, workshops, discussions and other forms aimed at disseminating knowledge about the European Union and the European integration,
- cooperation with foreign centres,
- organising meetings with both theoreticians and practitioners in the field of European law and policies pursued within the framework of the European Union.
