Student Council of the Faculty of Arts at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University was established in 1997 at the newly created Faculty of Arts. The current eleventh term of office of the RWSS began in November 2017.
For two decades, we have been representing students in front of the University authorities and outside its walls, we also protect students' interests and rights. We care about entertainment and student culture, we keep our finger on the pulse when it comes to all the most important student events. We provide opinions on basic legal acts (regulations, class schedules) and create the Faculty Student Scholarship Commission. We popularize various types of student initiatives among the Faculty of Arts community, we promote culture, artistic competitions and the activities of student clubs.
