Research

Research profile of the department:

  1. Studies on the processes of removal of herbicides, dyes, aromatic compounds, compounds with biological activity from aqueous solutions on carbon materials, aluminosilicates, composites by adsorption.
  2. Experimental studies of equilibrium processes, adsorption kinetics, temperature dependence and desorption.
  3. Analysis of experimental data in the context of the theory of adsorption on energetically inhomogeneous solids.
  4. Analysis of concentration profiles using various equations and models of adsorption kinetics.
  5. Synthesis and investigation of the properties of porous materials: mesoporous silica materials, carbon materials, inorganic oxides and inorganic-organic composites.
  6. Synthesis and investigation of the physicochemical properties of adsorbents modified with a protein phase
  7. Use of liquid chromatography to evaluate the lipophilicity and biological activity of selected compounds.
  8. Use of magnetic nanomaterials for wastewater treatment.
  9. Use of magnetic nanomaterials in chromatography.
  10. Electrochromatography and magnetochromatography.
