prof. Dorota Kołodyńska - UMCS Vice-Rector for Students and Education Quality

Graduate of chemistry. She obtained her PhD from UMCS in 2003, her postdoctoral degree in 2012, and the title of professor in 2019. She was the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Chemistry for two terms: for International Cooperation (2012–2016) and for Education (2016–2019), as well as the Director of the Institute of Chemical Sciences at UMCS (2019–2020).

She currently serves as Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Education. She has been the head of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry (since 2016).

Author of over 250 scientific publications (including 155 from the JCR database), cited over 3900 times (H index = 30), 14 chapters in books, and 350 conference reports. Co-author of eight textbooks and scripts for students.

Awarded with the Silver Cross of Merit, the Medal of the National Education Commission, the Silver Medal for Merit to Polish Science Sapientia et Veritas and the Bronze Medal for Long Service.
