She works at the Department of International Political Relations, at the Institute of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She is currently the director of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at UMCS.
Her research interests include: international security, culture in international relations, strategic culture, public diplomacy, and her research mainly concerns the Indo-Pacific region in East Asia.
She collaborates with the Polish Society for International Studies, the European International Studies Association (EISA), and the World International Studies Committee among others. She sits on the Program Boards of the journals: Asia-Pacific and Alternatif Politika Journal. She is a Taiwan Fellowship holder.
