Patrycja Adamczyk - PhD student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences

Patrycja Adamczyk is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She received her engineering degree in 2022 and her master's degree in Spatial Management in 2023 from the Faculty of Earth and Spatial Sciences, University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin. She has twice been awarded the title of Best Graduate of the Faculty at the engineering and master's level. During her studies, Patrycja Adamczyk was actively involved in the Student Scientific Circle of Planners ‘SmartCity’, serving as the chairperson during the academic year 2021/2022.

Currently, her research focuses on issues related to planning quiet areas in cities. She has published two scientific articles on this topic and regularly participates in scientific conferences, both nationally and internationally. Patrycja Adamczyk is involved in the activities of the UMCS Doctoral School Scientific Circle and participates in events organised by UMCS. Privately, she is a lover of walking and mountain hiking, valuing peace and contact with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
