We would like to invite you to the opening of Leonard Konopelski's exhibition, which will take place on October 8, 2024 at the University Art Gallery of the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska (43 Głęboka St.) at 6:00 p.m. The exhibition will be open until October 30, 2024. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Friday from 12 to 3 p.m. and at other days and times by appointment (797 701 709).
The exhibition is curated by prof. Artur Popek
The exhibition is held under the honorary patronage of His Magnificence Rector of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University prof. Radosław Dobrowolski.

Leonard Konopelski
Painter, graphic artist, designer. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He designed film and theater posters. Recognized as an artist belonging to the circle of the “Polish School of Poster”. He also worked as a scenographer for theater, film and costume designer, as well as an art director and graphic designer. His clients included Warner Bros., Warner Music, A&M Records, L.A. Gear, Los Angeles Rams and Mark Taper Forum. He has also illustrated numerous national publications, and has been art director for several television programs in the US and Canada. Konopelski is also an accomplished lecturer, having held the position of professor at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, for nearly 20 years. He has also twice taught classes and workshops for students at the Institute of Fine Arts as a visiting professor.
