We are extremely proud of a student of our Faculty who won the competition for the most international student at UMCS.
Hanna Popruha presented her graphic works at nine international exhibitions in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Germany winning the prize in the ENTER INTO ART competition. Hanna also supports the Faculty of Arts in organizing events such as exhibitions and Open Doors Day. It is also worth adding that during academic year 2018/2019 she was the president of the Faculty Students Council. It is a great joy to have such people in our student community!
On 25th of November 2019, the 1st UMCS Internationalization Day took place. Representatives of the academic community from Poland and abroad took part in it. On that day, the Competition for the most internationalized student at UMCS was also settled. The awards were funded by Santander Universidades, who co-organized the event.
Doctor Uwe Brandenburg, expert of the European Association for International Educators (EAIE), gave a lecture on "Why internationalization? Rationales and future trends ".
Professor dr hab. Radosław Dobrowolski, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, handed commemorative diplomas and checks.
The National Academic Exchange Agency took the honorary patronage of the event.
