On 19^th of March at 17.00 at the Center for the Meeting of Cultures, the vernissage of the post-competition exhibition of the 1st Painting Biennale "Lubelska Wiosna" took place.

The exhibition is the result of cooperation between the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin and the Institute of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Arts at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University.

LUBELSKA WIOSNA is the only cyclical event of this type on the eastern side of the Vistula, aimed at promoting and supporting young artists working in the field of broadly understood painting. It does not impose restrictions in terms of subject matter, technique or painting convention. The exhibition presents the works of 36 finalists of the competition, selected by a group of experts.
