The Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management UMCS will host the Earth Day 2025 celebrations from April 24 to 27.
Earth Day, celebrated annually on April 22, is a global initiative launched in 1970 to promote awareness and action for the protection of the natural environment.
The event is primarily addressed to primary and secondary school students, but all visitors interested in environmental and sustainability issues are welcome to attend.
This year’s theme is “On the Sustainable Side of the Force”, and the event is part of the 80th anniversary of Lublin Geography. The programme includes lectures, workshops, a debate, educational activities, and meetings with invited guests. Detailed information is here.
