Are you an Erasmus or foreign student interested in mental health? Join us for a workshop on understanding mental health crisis and how to support yourself and others. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 3 people will experience a mental disorder in their lifetime. It is crucial to have adequate knowledge on this topic to recognize the first symptoms, effectively support a person in crisis, take care of ourselves when we experience mental distress, and build a supportive community.
The meetings will be held in-person, and the location will be communicated in an email to those who sign up. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University (Plac Marii Curie Skłodowskiej 4). Enrolled persons will receive additional details.
Individual consultations will be available after each meeting.
Enrollment is required, so please fill out the registration form. The workshop is funded by the Disability Support Fund of the UMCS.
We also invite all students and doctoral students interested in international workshops to attend.
Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills on mental health crisis and support!
