On 8 May, the Faculty of Economics hosted Prof Tamar Dolidze from Batumi State Maritime Academy in Georgia. During the meeting with the Vice-Dean for Educational Quality, Dr Anna Tatarczak, a discussion was held on potential areas of teaching cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Batumi State Maritime Academy. During the discussions, the organisation of short-term teaching stays for academic staff was addressed. In addition, the possibility of organising guest lectures was discussed, which would enrich the teaching offer of both academies and enable students to access international expertise. In addition, the issue of jointly applying for project funds that could be used to develop research and innovative teaching projects was raised. Both parties committed to further discussions to finalise concrete measures that will contribute to the quality of education at both institutions.
