On 3 June 2023 students from Tanzania and Zimbabwe took part in the annual school feast at Primary School No. 28 in Lublin. Four students from the UMCS Faculty of Economics were among them: Innocent Novart (Data Science, 1st year of Masters) and Erasmus+ students: Joyce Meshack Magere, Elias Robert and Josephat Kimbage (2 nd year of Bachelor). They presented African dances on stage, inviting pupils to join. Moreover, Josephat taught greetings in Swahili. Everyone received certificates of participation. African youth tasted cotton candy (Polish “wata cukrowa”) for the first time in their lives.
