PhD student at the Doctoral School of Science and Technology at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin. She is currently preparing her doctoral dissertation as part of the prestigious MAESTRO project entitled "The formation and fate of nanobiochars in the context of the protection of soil and water resources", under the supervision of Prof. Dr Hab. Patryk Oleszczuk.
She completed both first and second cycle studies at the Faculty of Chemistry at UMCS. Her scientific interests focus on the creation and study of nanobiochars, with particular emphasis on their properties, ecotoxicology, and applications in soil and water remediation. Monika is also involved in cooperative research with the University of Life Sciences in Lublin and the Institute of Environmental Protection in Warsaw. Her research aims to develop innovative technologies that will contribute to environmental protection through the use of nanomaterials in the purification and protection of natural resources.
