The Polish Language and Culture Centre for Polish People from Abroad and Foreigners

The Centre's library operates under the auspices of the UMCS Main Library.

The library's activities include:

• rental of its resources,
• constant development of its collection.

The library's collection of books comprises ca. 17 200 volumes.

Its resources comprise: 

• scientific literature on Polish language studies and linguistics, 
• monographs (Polish culture, Polish art, history, geography, emigration),
• novels, 
• dictionaries, 
• encyclopedias, 
• handbooks and teaching materials, 
• biographies, 
• periodicals and magazines, 
• maps, 
• DVD films.

Electronic and traditional databases of library resources are available in the reading room. A set of Library Regulations governs access to, and use of, library materials.
