Prof. Fu-kuo Liu, the Dean of International College of Innovation and a Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations at the National Chengchi University(NCU) in Taipei, Taiwan will teach a course "International Security in the Pacific Region" within Visiting Professors Program at the Political Science Faculty UMCS in May 2019. The lectures will be held on May 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16th of May, 2019. Students and faculty are welcome to join the lectures along the enrolled group of students from Security Studies, (BN I st. Prof. Fu-kuo Liu is Dean of International College of Innovation and a Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations at the National Chengchi University(NCU) in Taipei, Taiwan. Porf. Liu also holds position of a Professor in International Doctor Program in Asia-Pacific Studies, NCU College of Social Science.He serves as an Executive Director, Taiwan Center For Security Studies at IIR and a CEO of Association for Emerging Market Studies in Taipei. His professional experience also includes various public policy positions including currently a Commissioner in International Affairs Commission, Taipei City Government and Consultative Adviser in Mainland Affairs Council (Ministry), Republic of China (2004-2007) and a Chairman in Research and Planning Board, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (ROC) Taiwan.
