The University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska in Lublin is one of the largest research centres in Poland. The university's main mission is high-level education, giving graduates the knowledge and skills necessary to start a professional career or a scientific career. It is also conducting research that significantly contributes to the development of science and economy and supporting the development of the city of Lublin and the entire Lubelskie Voivodeship through teaching, research and cultural activities, and promotion of the region in the country and abroad.
The University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska offers a wide educational offer as part of higher education, postgraduate studies and doctoral studies. Our educational offer is complemented by numerous training and courses.The university's higher education studies include nearly 80 fields of study, with over 250 specializations, including more and more paths implemented in foreign languages. This takes place in many areas of education, i.e. social, humanities, science, natural sciences, art, and technical, health sciences, and physical culture.
Doctoral studies are another educational offer at our University. This is a great opportunity for those who want to deepen and improve their knowledge and skills in cooperation with outstanding specialists in many science fields. It is a great chance to implement many innovative projects in domestic and international scholarship programs.

There are 9 comfortable dormitories in our university's vicinity, just like the Main Library located in the very centre of the campus. On the other hand, the UMCS Academic Cultural Centre "Chatka Żaka" gives a great opportunity to actively participate and shape student culture. Furthermore, the Centre for Physical Culture, located on the campus, offers numerous activities and offers the possibility of using sports facilities.
