Lublin is a city with vibrant culture and fascinating history. An academic city in Eastern Poland it is home to nine universities (both public and private) with over 70 thousand students, 6000 of them being international students.
Lublin offers a wide range of places where you can relax, enjoy some culture or try sports and different activities.If you stay at a dormitory, you are within walking range of the city center – there you can find a number of cafes, pubs and restaurants offering all kinds of food and drinks – both local and ethnic.
If you are not a foodie you can visit our shopping malls – they offer a number of stores and places of leisure including cinemas, bowling alleys, entertainment centers and many more.
Lublin is familiar with nature – you can find many parks and forests around the city. If you are into sports, Lublin is also for you – a number of academic sports centers, an aqua park, tennis courts, football fields, bicycle paths and many more.

As a Summer School participant you can take a trip around Lublin with our classified tour guide. The trip is included in the price of the course and can help you get to know Lublin along with its most interesting sites and places of interest.
If you are interested, there is also a possibility of touring the Museum and Memorial at Majdanek – the site of a former concentration camp during World War II. The Museum offers a glimpse into the life of camp inmates as well as into the story of the Holocaust.
