Bearing in mind the necesity to regularily verify the numbers of students of every programme being relized at Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, I inform that, beginning from summer semester of 2020/2021 academic year, unjustified absence from classes of three weeks or more will be treated as basis to removal from students’ list.
Such actions can already be undertaken towards any student on their first semester of both BA- and MA-levels if they do not attend the classes since the beginning of the semester (§ 30 ust. 5 of UMCS study regulations).
Referring to §30 ust. 3 of UMCS study regulations, I set the deadline of three weeks of unjustified absence from classes applicable to every student of each year through their whole study period as basis to submit the information about the absent students by the lecturer. Based on such information, decision about the removal from students’ list will be issued, together with the adequate information.
